Overview
Starting on Onelli Street, a shopping center for residents, we cross the different popular neighborhoods, until we reach the east coast of Lake Gutiérrez, bordering the lake, we will walk through a Coihues forest, to visit Cascada de los Duendes.
After this slight walk, we will arrive at the Gruta de la Virgen de las Nieves and from there to the base of Cerro Catedral, where we will walk along the foot of the mountain.
After touring Colonia Switzerland, where the craft fair and curanto production is presented on Wednesdays and Sundays, we will continue through Circuito Chico, visiting Punto Panoramico, Bahía López, Hotel Llao Llao, Capilla San Eduardo and Puerto Pañuelo.
The most impressive point of this tour is the view of Cerro Campanario (optional chairlift ascent).

We will start from Francisco Pascacio Moreno Street, n° 234, first floor, office 5. Building located between Rolando and Villegas streets. At the meeting point the guide will wait for you with the list of passengers who will take the excursion. On the ground floor there is a hardware store Ferretería y Cerrajería

What To Expect
Cascada de los Duendes
Leaving along National Route 40, crossing Onelli commercial street, we will arrive at Lake Gutiérrez, where we will enter the native coihue forest along a self-guided trail, to discover the Cascada de los Duendes.

Cerro Catedral
Continuing our way, passing through the grotto of the Virgen de las Nieves, we will arrive at Cerro Catedral, the largest ski center in South America. Here we will tour the foot of the mountain to appreciate its infrastructure.

Colonia Suiza
Colonia Switzerland is the oldest neighborhood of our city created by Swiss immigrants who came from Chile in the late 1800s, nestled between Cerro López and Lake Moreno, on its main street, its historic houses still remain and on Wednesdays and Sundays The picturesque craft fair is held and you can also learn about preparation and tasting techniques for Curanto, traditional Araucana food. Here we will stop for lunch.

Circuito Chico
After lunch, we will continue towards the Chico Circuit, where we will be dazzled by its famous dream landscapes, such as the Panoramic Point over Lake Moreno, the natural union of Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Moreno in Bahía López, we will enter the municipal forest to appreciate the native species of the Andean Patagonian Forest and discover the Escondido Lake. Through this path we will end up at the Llao Llao Hotel, San Eduardo Chapel and Puerto Pañuelo, all icons of our city, which will undoubtedly be our favorite postcard of this walk.

Cerro Campanario
To close the day and after having attended a festival of wonderful landscapes and places, we will make the last stop at Cerro Campanario, where we will have the opportunity to go up by chairlift and discover the most impressive view of the entire lake region, considered one of the best views in the world!! Point from where we will begin the return to the city of San Carlos de Bariloche.
