What To Expect
Catedral de San Salvador de Oviedo
The Cathedral of Oviedo is the nucleus of the historic center of the city and the beginning of all its paths. Inside we will review eight centuries of Asturian history. We will meet our accredited guide at the door of the temple to access the Central Nave, whose stained glass windows tell the history of Asturias. You will pass through the Cloister to also visit the Chapter House, which was the headquarters of the former General Meeting of the Principality. We will arrive at the Holy Chamber, a World Heritage Site. Here relics from the Holy Land are kept, in addition to the Victory Cross you will see the Holy Shroud, the Cross of the Angels or the Box of Agates. We will learn about its secrets and curiosities, and also the way in which it resisted fires, looting and the Spanish Civil War. Discover it all on this interesting visit!
