• The transfer for the tour will be outside the reception of your hotel/accommodation, in the Terminal By sea or at the airport, between 9:20 and 9:30 on the morning tour or between 1:50 and 2:00 on the afternoon tour. The guide will be in a gray Opel van.

Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao
Monument of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, from this place you can see the historic center of the city and the bay of Horta on one side and, on the other, Praia do Almoxarife. You can also see the neighboring Pico Island and the highest point in Portugal, Pico Mountain. On days without clouds, you can still see the island of São Jorge and Graciosa. Without a doubt, a place with a privileged view!

Flamengos
On the route to Caldeira do Faial we will travel along a road with excellent views of the entire parish of Flamengos. This is the only parish on the island that has no sea around it and is surrounded by mountains and volcanoes.

Caldeira
Located in the center of the island, Caldeira is the real ex-libris of Faial. It is a huge crater of an extinct volcano that was at the origin of the island, about 2000 meters in diameter, 400 meters deep and seven kilometers in perimeter.

Capelinhos
