Join us on a private round-tour cruise in the UNESCO World Heritage landscape and one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway. The spectacular Nærøyfjord is surrounded by steep valley sides and snow-covered peaks that rise 1,600 metres above sea level, with thundering waterfalls and picturesque villages along the fjord. During a cruise on the Nærøyfjord, you will have excellent views of small traditional farms clinging on to the mountainsides. If you are lucky, you can see goats grazing right beside the fjord and seals basking on rocks along the fjord. Regardless of the season, a private cruise with the Explorer 50 Yacht will be an unforgettable experience. Every season leaves its own unique touch on the fjord landscape. Frosty colours, white mountain peaks and ice-covered waterfalls during winter time, blooming deciduous trees and birds chirping during the spring, green trees and long, bright nights during the summer, and a golden terrain with fresh and clear air during the autumn.

The Aurlandsfjord flows through the municipalities of Aurland, Vik and Lærdal. The 29-kilometre (18 mi) long fjord is a branch off of the main Sognefjord, Norway's longest fjord. The fjord is deep and narrow, reaching a depth of about 962 metres (3,156 ft) and its width is generally less than 2 kilometres (1.2 mi). About 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) south of the mouth of the fjord, the Nærøyfjord branches off from it to the west. The village of Flåm sits at the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord; other villages along the fjord are Aurlandsvangen and Undredal. Most of the fjord is surrounded by up to 1,800-metre (5,900 ft) tall, steep mountains with little habitation along the fjord except for in a few small valleys.
