Meeting point
We will meet in Piazza Giovanni Grandi in Argegno in front of the church. Once you reach the meeting point, send a WhatsApp message or call and we will open a gate for you. After check in you can reach the pier. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the experience.

We will start from Argegno, a small village in the middle of the first basin of Lake Como famous for being the film set for the films Murder Mystery and Mr and Mrs Smith. and we will head north towards the Comacina Island

Isola Comacina
The Comacina island, a strip of land in front of Ossuccio, is special when they set off fireworks to recall a great fire from the past. By customizing the tour, it is possible to swim here in complete safety, being close to the coast it creates a bathing canal, very popular in summer. The island is also famous for the fireworks which commemorate the ancient fire of 24 June 1169.

We will be able to admire the medieval bell tower, perhaps the most characteristic of the whole lake, with its unmistakable shape, famous for its Gothic-Moorish style spire later superimposed on the Romanesque stone bell tower, which originally ended above the current mullioned window . The bell tower of Ossuccio, which has long been a symbol of the Lario due to its particularity, is located on the northern side of the church.

We will then see Villa Monastero, an evocative 16th century architectural complex, which was once a convent for Cistercian nuns. Today it is one of the main tourist attractions, with its house museum and botanical gardens which host many plant species.
