What To Expect
One of the world's seven most beautiful botanical gardens, located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, has gained considerable praise for its excellent excellence. The 528-hectare estate has both a wildlife reserve and a planted garden. The constructed garden features many rare and endangered kinds of southern African flora. Groot Constantia
The old Groot Constantia wine vineyard is next on our schedule. Groot Constantia has been South Africa's oldest wine-producing farm since 1685, and it has continued to produce wine even after changing ownership. The farm produces cultivars that are 70% red and 30% white. We recommend a delicious supper at Jonkershuis Restaurant or Simon's Restaurant, both located on this gorgeous wine estate. • Admission: one hour. Not included in the ticket 4 Winery Constantia Glen.
