Kenmare town (Ceann Mara- head of the sea) Previously Neidin- little nest. 16th, 17th centry town of pirates and smugglers. Charming town designed by Sir Oliver William Petty who was granted this area as a part of payment for mapping of Ireland. He laid out a modern town in 1670. Now Kenmare town is visited by many people because it's beauty.

After a rest stop at the cafe and gift shop, relax during the 1.5-hour return drive to Killarney, with drop-off at your accommodation.
