Overview
Our cooking classes are designed to give you a taste of traditional Balinese cuisine, using local ingredients from our farm, during the cooking class, you will have the opportunity to visit our organic vegetable garden and learn about the various herbs and spices that are important in Balinese cuisine.

What To Expect
Meet you at our meeting point in Ubud and driven to the local traditional market to join the locals in shopping for the freshest produce. We will introduce you to the seasonal fruits, vegetables and spices on offer and you’ll pick up a few ingredients for your cooking lesson. You will spend about 30 minutes at the market before driving to our farm.
Arrive at our farm will welcoming you with fruits and drink refreshing tea made from our vegetable, following the drink you will see the local vegetation and we will harvest some of the ingredients we are going to use later. Our knowledgeable farmers will guide you through the farm, explaining the importance of sustainable farming practices and their role in preserving Bali’s rich culinary heritage. We will teach you about the spices we uses in our family recipes and the medicinal qualities of Balinese ingredients.
We will start cooking 6 local dishes, 1 desert and finally, we'll share the delicious meal together. You can expect the cooking lesson to last about 1-2 hours. Of course, you will be able to take the rest of the food, a printed recipe book (and PDF recipe) home.
