In the middle of the grass fields of Guanacaste lies a hidden historical jewel knows as Hacienda El Viejo. It is surrounded by huge sugarcane crops and the most important river in the Blue Zone of Costa Rica, Rio Tempisque.
Prepare your senses as we experience the whole process of producing high quality Rum from our purest sugar cane.
Rum in its quality oak barrels. Distilled on premises, it will boast its characteristics and flavors
Enjoy a delicious meal prepared and served in the Casona, national heritage site!
Then, lets go on a smooth riverboat cruise along Palo Verde national park for the observation of crocodiles, monkeys, migratory birds and much more.
