L'Escapade à Biarritz is a guided tour of the Basque coast between Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz. You will notably discover the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the port of Guéthary, the cliffs of Bidart and Biarritz. Each of these places is rich in a historical past.
Meet at the 3rd pontoon of the Quai de l'Infante at the port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Same pontoon as the “maritime shuttle”.

The boat trip begins with crossing the fishing port then the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz which also houses the port of Socoa.

After the Artha and Sainte Barbe dikes we will head towards Guéthary. This former whaling port (until the end of the 17th century) has now become a small marina famous for its legendary surf spots such as Parlementia and the Alcyons.

Then head to the fragile cliffs of Bidart from where you can observe the Royal Pavilion and the Château d'Ilbaritz.

The excursion will continue towards Biarritz. Rich in history, Biarritz was originally a small whaling port. The old port beach, the fishermen's port and the virgin rock are witnesses to this. Now the capital of surfing in Europe, Biarritz is popular with holidaymakers who come to admire its landscapes and surf its waves.
