FULL DAY ITINERARY: The first stop on your journey will be Dudley Wine. Here you will find a selection of their quality wine and soak up the spectacular view across Backstairs Passage.
A short drive up the road will take you to False Cape Wines. The rustic charm and idyllic setting among the gum trees and vineyard makes this cellar door a great place for a glass of wine and homemade pies and platters!
We will then travel back to Cygnet River , "Capital of the Wine Industry" in Kangaroo Island. Here we will visit The Islander Estate at Cygnet River and taste the only 5-star James Halliday rated wines of the the island.
We will visit the cellar door at Spring Roads Wines. Their vineyard was established in 1994 on a small sheep property about 7km west of Kingscote.
We will then travel back to Kingscote and we will stop at Bay of Shoals Wines, overlooking the picturesque vineyards and sheltered bay.
After an enjoyable day, we will take you back to your hotel, or to the Airport/Ferry

Dudley Wines is Kangaroo Island’s pioneer winery established in 1997 and is a small family run business producing 100% Kangaroo Island product, handcrafted on Kangaroo Island by fifth generation Islander Brodie Howard. Kangaroo Island is the world’s oldest bee sanctuary and is home to the only pure strain of Ligurian Bee in the world. Due to their isolation they have remained free of the major bee diseases

The Cellar Door is made from recycled wood, jetty timbers and stone sourced on the property. The Cellar Door will allow visitors to taste False Cape Wines in an idyllic setting nestled among the vineyard and Gum trees on the picturesque Willson River, surrounded by native vegetation on the Dudley Peninsula only 12 kilometres from Penneshaw.

Bay of Shoals is a coastal winery situated on historic Reeves Farm, one of South Australia’s first settlements and former home to Augustus Reeves, the first postmaster on Kangaroo Island. Bay of Shoals wines are an authentic Kangaroo Island product, with fruit being Estate-grown, harvested, and made into wine on site at the property. The estate has over fifteen hectares of established vines producing ten grape varieties that benefit from a true maritime climate, which enhances the fruit flavours.
