-The tour includes transfers from the main accommodations in the central area of Rovaniemi, Arctic Treehouse Hotel and Santa Claus Village. If you are staying in an Airbnb or similar, we will notify you of the closest meeting point. -All the pick-up times are subject to a 15-minute difference depending on the other participants joining the tours. Customers shall wait for their pick-up at the meeting point notified by Wild Nordic. -Pick up schedule is as follows: • SantaSport Resort, Sky Ounasvaara and Ounasvaara Chalets: 60 minutes before the tour starting time • City Center meeting point at Sampokeskus: 50 minutes before the tour starting time • Arctic TreeHouse: 40 minutes before starting time • Wild Nordic Safari Center: 30 minutes before starting time
What To Expect
Discover the true Lapland nature by hiking through untouched snow blankets and under the trees covered in white - Snowshoeing, a traditional Lappish way of getting around, allows you to explore places inaccessible by foot during snowy time.
After a 20-minute transfer out from the city, you’ll arrive in a wilderness area where it’s time to put on your snowshoes and follow our guide to the surrounding nature: Embrace the tranquility and peace of the arctic woods and breathe in the purest air in the world.
During the way you’ll take a break to catch your breath and enjoy hot drinks with snacks by the campfire.
(Please note: Basic physical fitness is required for this tour and thus it’s not recommended for the smallest children or persons with remarkable physical limitations)

- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities.
- A moderate amount of walking is involved (1,5 - 2 hours of walking)
- Please let us know if there are any dietary restrictions, so we can prepare accordingly.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to know basic English in order to understand the instructions. If the customer does not understand any of the instructions, Wild Nordic shall reserve the right to refuse the customer ́s participation based on safety concerns and necessity to communicate in English during any emergency situation.
- All the pick-up times are subject to a 15-minute difference depending on the other participants joining the tours. Customers shall wait for their pick-up in the hotel reception area (or such other area as notified by Wild Nordic)
- No refund of the tours will be made if the customer misses the pick up services as a result of failing to wait at the designated pick-up area. Wild Nordic has the right to charge reasonable expenses arising from such neglect to follow the timetable of the program.
- Customers are highly encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance (which covers insurance for the activities to be participated
- Wild Nordic shall not be responsible for any valuables of the customers left in the public area while participating in the activities.
- Reservations: Tour reservation is considered confirmed when you receive a written confirmation including confirmation number from Wild Nordic. All bookings, changes and cancellations must be made by e-mail to Wild Nordic during business days on Monday - Friday at 09.00-16.00 Finnish time, minimum one day

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
