Overview
Skip the Newport bridge traffic and toursit traps and come spend the day in picturesque Mattapoisett Harbor, a quaint New England coastal village.
Whether you want to go for a sail or cruise the shoreline, we're happy to make suggestions and craft an itinerary to make you visit to Boston and/or the Cape complete. For longer charters, picnics at Hadley's Harbor, Pocasset Harbor or Tarpolin Cove are favorites. BBYC also specializes in Engagement and bachelorette parties, wedding launch, regattas and spectator fleet services.

When you arrive at the Mattapoisett Boatyard, proceed to the brown canopy on the waterfront. Tell the launch driver you have a charter on "Hamlet" and they will bring you to the boat. I will already be aboard awaiting you arrival.

What To Expect
Whether you want a relaxing tour of Mattapoisett Harbor or an exhilerating sail on the bay, we will design an itinerary to exceed your expectations. All trips include a captain. Programs range from 2-hour sails to full-day charters. Sample charter itineraries include picnics in Tarpaulin Cove or Hadley's Harbor, Spectator Boat for Regional Regatta's, Bachellorette and Engagement Parties or a fun afternoon sail on the bay.

- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Guest should have a moderate level of agility. Sailing on Hamlet will require walking down a steep companionway to a floating dock. Guest will need to be able to transfer from the floating dock to the launch (water taxi) then from the launch on to Hamlet (the sailboat) and repeat the process for your return to shore.
- While underway on any boat, motion through the water is often erradic. Motion sickness can result from boating.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
