Begin your journey at the iconic Portas da Cidade and get introduced to the Azores, with a brief summary of their history and culture. Explore the historical downtown enjoying the quiet Sunday atmosphere of the city. Visit a tea house to learn about the oldest tea plantations of Europe, and sample local tea paired with different foods.
Head to the St. Andrew nunnery: step back in time unravelling fascinating stories and ancient symbols. Then, visit one of the city's nicest gardens.
Afterwards, enjoy an amazing lunch catered and hosted by Hungry Whales. You might be challenged to cook on your own lava stone!
