Takoyaki is one of Japanese cultural food. Japanese often take place parties named "Takoyaki party." It is easy to make Takoyaki, fried small balls, for anyone. The making process is absolutely fun.
In the tour, I will bring you to a famous local supermarket. You can enjoy making original Takoyaki using fillings you choose there.
The supermarket has local fresh foods, so you can pick some up as you like. It's also okay you choose what you like to put inside Takoyaki if Japanese don't usually use.
Tour area is Kanaya town in Takaoka city in Toyama.
Here has only less foreign tourists. That's why you could feel quiet atmosphere.
Kanaya town is the birth place of "Takaoka copperware". The town was not suffered from the war, that's why old architectures still remain beautifully. Takaoka has more than 90 % of share of making copperware in Japan. You also could experience making metal items by yourselves in old shops, which have been running more than 150 years.

What To Expect
In the tour, you are making Takoyaki being instructed by a guide. First, we go to a supermarket which is famous for a large of selection of unique products in the neighborhood. You can choose what you like to put into Takoyaki as you like even if it is what Japanese don't usually put into.
Kanaya town in Takaoka city, in Toyama, is the birth place of "Takaoka copperware", which is a Japanese traditional industry. Some old shops continuing more than 150 years still remain and you could make your original metal items by casting if you'd like to.
