Walking through the olive grove, between the green canopies of the trees is so relaxing. You'll enjoy it, and during our walk, I'll tell you about the history of the area and the culinary tradition as well. All our guests appreciate that very much. You'll learn how to recognize a quality extra virgin olive oil. You'll enjoy surrounded by nature.

Meeting And Pickup
Meeting point
Olive Grove Oio vivo, from Pula to Vodnjan direction, is on your right side, 50 m after the crossroads for Galižana. From Vodnjan direction to Pula will be on your left side. There is a nice modern shop, with a big parking in front of the shop, I'll meet you there.

What To Expect
I'll take you for a short walking tour through the olive grove. There you'll see the canopy of the trees full of fruits, I'll explain to you the method of growing and some specific interesting details. Then comes the tasty part of the tour where you will taste 3 different types of extra virgin olive oil. I'll show you how we do a sensorial tasting and how you'll recognize quality olive oil. You will taste one of the most quality known Istrian extra virgin olive oil with local cow cheeses, salted olive, fresh tomatoes, and arugula from the garden. This extra virgin olive oils are introduced in FLOS OLEI, the bible of the EVOO that includes 500 best producers in the world. The oils Oio vivo are mentioned in it.
