Around 400 varieties of birds, like Resplendent Quetzal, 2 species of toucans, Mot Mot, Three-wattled bellbird, also about 250 migratory like some Orioles and Tanagers.
Usually birds are very active at the morning. Besides colorful birds
there is chances to also see diurnal mammals like Coatis, Monkeys, Agoutis and Peccary.

What To Expect
Curi Cancha Reserve
Enjoy the Tropical Cloud forest in Monteverde A walk through primary and secondary forest in the Monteverde cloud forest. A combination of natural history, bird watching. You will have the chance to spot some species of mammals like monkeys, coatis, agoutis, peccaries and amazing birds like toucans, motmots, the quetzal as well many others. The two different forests provides a variety of flora and fauna which give us bigger chances to find a lot of wildlife and appreciate the diversity of flora. A Passionate and experienced local guide with great knowledge of the local flora and fauna of the area will show you the trails complex and help you spot the amazing treasures of the tropical forest of Monteverde. Your guide can help you get pictures of the wildlife you see during the tour (optional). Join us and let your senses feel the walk in the cloud forest. Tour Schedule Available at 8:00AM and 11:00AM
