You will start with a chocolate experience. Try firstly Bicerin, the traditional hot cup recipe consumed in these '800 century cafés.
We will move on to explore how local chocolatiers have worked cocoa for our happiness. Sampling a selection of traditional chocolates like Gianduiotto, Cremino and Cri Cri and moving to premium dark versions made with Criollo. The food expert will talk about global sourcing issues and challenges.
You will learn about Turin and its people, the city has indeed been developing as a community of citizens from all the regions of Italy, each one bringing over their own recipes and traditions.
You will sample the Focaccia Ligure from Cinque Terre in a family shop, and experience how great olive oil plays together with a fluffy and tasty bake.
Turin and Piedmont are famous for their wines, from vineyards in the slopes of the Alps. Enjoy 2 tastings of whites and icon red paired with ham and cheese.
We will meet our guests in front of Pasticceria Venier.
