In Nepal, you’ll feel more profoundly than any other place, how small a place we occupy in this world. While you stand in the shadows of the towering mountains, you’ll feel their grandeur overpowering you. When you try to scale them, you’ll feel them testing you. When you’re safe in the valley, you’ll feel them looking out for you. And this doesn’t mean you’re insignificant, it doesn’t make you meaningless. If anything, this is humbling. And sometimes we, our soul, we all need a sense of grounding.
