You will be picked up from your hotel and taken on a tour of the five best shopping malls in Chennai. The malls offer a variety of products ranging from traditional handicrafts to modern textiles and the famous silks of South India. Be it souvenirs or gifts for friends and family back home, you will find everything to suit your taste and budget. South India is famous for its rich variety of silk fabrics. These can be used for elegant shirts and jackets or as stoles and scarves and make for some good gifting ideas. Take your time to explore all the floors of these malls and keep storing your shopping bags in your private car. The morning shopping is bound to leave you hungry. So take some time out to enjoy a leisurely lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant. After lunch you will be dropped back at your hotel.
