“It’s Friday night and it won’t be long till I hit the dance floor, hit the dance floor, I got all I need. I ain’t got cash, I ain’t got cash but I hope I get an entry.”

If that’s the jam you pitch as an antidote to a tiring and monotonous round of paperwork and meetings, Singapore’s nightlife scenes have got you covered with all sorts of tastes and fancies to suffice every need. All you got to hope for in this land of extensive expenditure in exchange for the best experiences is a ditch of the cover. But hey, I’ve got you sorted there with a collection of the top 3 Nightlife spots in Singapore you need to be to unleash your enthusiasm for partying.

So before the bass drops right, the Dj’s got their sets rollin’ and your tired self starts snorin’, head out and feel energised and pumped amidst good company and great ambience in these spots.

Also, ladies, take note, Wednesday’s your night in Singapore.

My Personal Recommendation of the Three Best Nightlife Spots in Singapore:
1. Haji Lane/Arab Street

Tradition, art, culture and vibrancy takes a beautiful coherence in the lamp-lit lanes of Arab Street. Iconised by the famous Sultan Mosque, it’s almost a rare sight to find a space in the city that closely testifies its culture yet embraces the vibes of the youth with zest and zeal. Streets are filled with different restaurants serving different kinds of cuisines like Arabic, Lebanese, Italian, American fast food and Indian.

If you like sitting back on the streets with live performances set amidst the crowd, then Haji Lane is the place for you to be in. The Indian at heart will surely love this place as the Magic Carpet Bollywood Lounge plays Bollywood beats throughout the week set within a great ambience. Not to miss out, just opposite the street, located in the Marina Square, the Pan Pacific Hotel is home to one of the best clubs in the country – ‘Bang Bang’ – which has recently even taken off its cover charge.

Magic Carpet Bollywood Lounge: Wednesday & Friday (11PM-3AM), Saturday (11PM-4AM)

2. Clarke Quay

The nightlife in Singapore is incomplete without a mention of this absolutely stunning place. Clarke Quay is one of the city’s oldest, modern and plush nightlife area. The scene looks straight out of a romantic film with a bustling crowd full of life settled amidst fine restaurants as well as day to day dining options.

Some of these restaurants also offer live entertainment with local artists thriving at their best to make for some of the most spectacular evenings extended into the most beautiful nights by the river. Nightclubs surround the entire area that is divided into more than five zones.

One of the best ones I have been to is Get Juiced, one of Singapore’s first cashless bars and live entertainment spot.

The club is divided into three areas, a seated bar (CHILL) in the centre with a live music room (LIVE) at one side and a Dj space (DANCE) in the other. Another extremely stylish and suave party destination is Attica Singapore, where you enter and are bound to get your foot stepping to some of the most amazing tunes merged to perfection coupled with a great drinks menu to set the mood for your evening.

If you’re the one who fancies dressing up and a fancy night out, Clarke Quay gives you the best combo of posh and casual, feel free to choose your trend.

3. Holland Village

What I love best about Holland Village is the effortless vibe of street-side chills and togetherness it unfolds. Packs of friends and families seated across the small street clad with bars and live sports screenings on both sides make you spring up in your space and feel connected to everyone around you. Even if you are travelling solo, this place doesn’t let you feel left out.

A small street with restaurants, bars and cafes on both sides, Holland Village Road offers a nightlife scene that’s not just easy to find your way to but also a great meal with some of the most affordable deals for the drinking enthusiast.

One of the best places here for me is without a doubt Cha Cha Cha, a Mexican restaurant offering a wide range of delicious delicacies infused with authentic taste at a great price. The British Indian Curry Hut is another good place to savour on with its fusion cuisine serving an interesting blend of Indian and Western dishes.

If you’re someone who likes the easy vibe, catching up with friends for talk more than a loud club and dance, or a family person hoping to recruit your cool parents onto the nightlife scene, Holland Village is the place for you to be in.

Cha Cha Cha: Weekdays (11:30AM-11PM), Weekends (11:30AM-12AM)
