Since 2010, Toit has managed to garner immense fame and a number of loyal customers courtesy of its fresh and scrumptious beer. Besides brewing a revolutionary culture of naturally-crafted beers, the brewery tour at Toit also provides a first-hand insight into the actual functioning of breweries and creation of their variety of brews.

Don’t miss the different range of seasonal beers at Toit which come in a gamut of interesting flavours such as Harvest Ragi Ale, Spiced Pumpkin Ale, Mango Ale, Jackfruit Ale and more. Patrons here particularly love the ‘Basmati Blonde’, ‘Tintin Toit’, and the ‘Dark Knight’ which is an Irish stout. Arbor Brewing Company or ABC is Michigan originated Craft Beer Company and has become Bengaluru’s premier brewpub. Their foremost overseas branch in India exudes a modern vibe and offers a cutting-edge selection of handcrafted beers. Their variety of crafted beers includes Smooth Criminal, Bangalore Bliss, ‘Phat Abbot’ and ‘No Parking Pilsner’. Amongst the lighter ones, ‘Raging Elephant’ will be an ideal choice and they also have Holiday Stout’ and ‘Irish Stout’ on the tap! For food try the Calamari Rings, Drunken Chicken!

Byg Brewski, Sarjapur Road

Byg Brewski Brewing Company is dedicated to Byggvir, Brewing’s Viking deity. I mean, what do you expect?

With its clean, serene pool (that you can spend time beside), it is a perfect place to sit back and laze while sipping you your favourite beer and munching on some delicious food like Chicken dumplings, Teriyaki fish, Pot-Roasted Chili Pork, Beef Shakhasta, Wasabi Peas Jhal Mudi or their Signature Nachos. Favourite beers among the regular customers are ‘Dunkelweizen’, ‘Black Lager’, Tripel or Rauchbier. If you want into smokey flavoured beers, try the Smoke Lager! It’ll be perfect for you!

Prost Brewpub, Koramangala

This microbrewery is one of the best places in Koramangala for a glass of craft beer. With its rustic and relaxed ambience, Prost serves American, Continental and North Indian delicacies along with a range of delicious beers. This dimly lit pub also proffers buffet and open-air seating making it a perfect place to have family luncheon or dinner. Among their seasonal special brews, taste the Fruit Cider, Lager, Wheat Beer, Stout and English Ale; while amongst the food items, do try their Tandoori Prawns or if you’re a vegetarian, you will love their onion rings and vegetarian seekh kebabs.

Brewklyn Microbrewery, Kalyan Nagar

Spanning two floors, this Grand Brewery boasts a laid-back ambience which is inspired by Brooklyn’s vibrant culture and diversity. Apart from their signature craft beers such as Brewklyn’s Finest (Belgian Wit Beer), Woody Ale’n (British Pale Ale), Iron Mike (Dark, smooth wheat beer) and Biggie (a traditional German lager), you’ll be intrigued by their beer cocktails’ as well. Its NEIPA (New England Indian Pale Ale) is one of the best in the city and will induce an outburst of flavours in your mouth. With its rooftop seating arrangement, you can luxuriate and revel in some refreshing drinks. Also add Beef Nachos, Beef chilli with your phenomenal beers and enjoy!

Vapour Pub and Brewery, Indiranagar

This Brewpub is one of the best rooftop places in the city and it offers Beer cocktails such as Ersh, Kula and Shandy and a range of hand-rolled Cigars and cigarettes. The beer variations offered here are Basmati, Premium, Dark, Wheat, Ale, Blonde. Pair the beers with their Gosht Galouti Kabab, Magic Wings and Murgh Awadhi Tikka for best results. One of the must-have brews to try is the Basmati beer and the Wheat Beer.

Windmills Craftworks, Whitefield

Another one of the best breweries in Bengaluru, Windmills Craftworks in Whitefield offers homebrew beers, a supreme-class jazz theatre and a vibrant atmosphere complemented by a handpicked collection of artsy books.

Try the Stout, Hefeweizen (a fruity beer with hints of clove and banana), Golden Ale and India Pale Ale which are served on a regular basis with special brews based on the occasion/season. Add Keema Pav, Pork Chops or Risotto and you’re good to go!

The Biere Club, Lavelle Road

Back in 2010, this microbrewery was the first to open in Bangalore. Located in the heart of the city, this brewpub serves an array of classic, flavoured and speciality beers. It has a typical pub-like ambience and usually offers five or six beers on tap at any given time. In addition to the wheat, stout, lager, and Belgian style ale, The Biere Club is well known for its specials.

Having experimented a lot, it has a few stand out specials that include beers brewed with strawberry & vanilla, lemon & chilli, bay leaf, mango, and even a beer made predominantly out of ragi, which is a locally grown millet. Don’t forget to try the Plank Pizzas here as they are perfect accompaniments with your bubbly!

The Whitefield Arms Pub, Mahadevapura

This microbrewery possesses the flamboyant ambience of a traditional chic British pub. Therefore, apart from serving the best of their crafted beers, the pub also offers an exquisite dining experience- their mouth-watering menu will leave you spoilt for choices with its authentic cuisines.
