Lively Street Performances
The nightlife in Bukit Bintang is legendary. Whether you are looking for a live music scene, a posh nightclub, or an opulent rooftop bar, Bukit Bintang has it all. When I walked the streets, I noticed a couple of street bands tuning in the best of their collection to woo the audience. Many countries follow the trend of street performances, and to say, Malaysia’s Bukit Bintang is one of the most lively spots you’d not want to miss! From rock music to Arabic too, this street will take you by surprise.
Shopping Malls Be Like Heaven
For shopaholics and fashion enthusiasts, Pavilion KL, an upscale shopping mall is one of the most iconic landmarks here. The mall houses some of the best European luxury retailers – Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Juicy Couture, MaxMara, Versace, and Yves Saint Laurent. This district also stands out for having some of the trendiest shops if you are looking for something local. Whether you are a big spender or just have a few dollars in your pocket, this street has everything catered to your budget.
You Need That Massage
Quite known for its massages, Bukit Bintang is the massage centre for travellers. Many parlours offer a traditional Malaysian massage and some of them simply bank on Thai, Chinese, or Swedish-style treatments and spas. If you’re looking for an authentic local body massage for relaxation, you can try the Rub Bar. You can also enjoy simpler foot, head, neck and shoulder treatments on happy hours at more than many of the massage parlours you’ll see!
It’s All About The Art
It’s vital that this street gets more introduction! The lane featuring Kuala Lumpur’s iconic home-made handicrafts to everything artistic will easily capture your attention from afar. Some hawkers/stalls are also seen displaying their goods on the pavement, calling for people to look at their products. If you take a walk on a weekday, you will see creative artists and energetic buskers working hard to entertain the audience. As you wander further down the alleys, you’ll find that flora, fauna and the vibrant colours of the 2D and 3D visuals are the main attraction of the murals too.
