Shimla is well connected by road, rail and air. So once you are in Shimla, the best way to get to Mall road is by taking a cab. Would not suggest you drive your vehicle all the way to Mall Road as traffic conditions are pretty bad. On a bad day one can get stuck in traffic for hours. Vehicles are allowed only till the main road and not inside the Mall Road. The good news is that there is ample space for parking. 

There is also a glass lift operated by the Himachal Tourism Development Corporation that will help people go up the hill.

Mall Road Shimla Timings And Entry Fee

The mall road is open on all seven days of the week. There is no particular time to visit the popular street, however please note that all the shops open only from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. There is no entry free to the Mall Road as well.
