Coorg
It is one of the most popular hill stations in that state Karnataka. Coorg is actually the more popular name for the Kodagu District, and it is known for its abundant greenery, hilly slopes covered in coffee plantations, wildlife and waterfalls. Nagarahole National Park, Raja seat, Abbey falls, Nisaragadhama Iruppu falls, Madikeri Fort, are just some of the destinations that are worth the visit.
Auli
This hill station is located in the state of Uttarakhand amidst the snow-capped Himalayas. One of the best skiing destinations in India, you will find people flocking here throughout the year for an adventure. In the summer, it is an excellent destination for hiking, camping, and trekking through the rough trails of the Himalayas.

Pachmarhi
Often called “Satpura ki Rani,” Pachmarhi is a hill station in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It has amazing views of the Satpura range of mountains and is also home to Handi Koh, a viewpoint overlooking a deep gorge and craggy cliffs. There are also many waterfalls here, including Apsara Vihar, Silver Falls, and Bee Fall. Pachmarhi is also famous for the ancient Pandava Caves, cut out of sandstone, where it is believed that the Pandavas from the epic The Mahabharata once stayed. Other things to do here are trekking, paragliding, and zip lining.
Shimla
People often escape to this amazing destination in Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is filled with snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, and vibrant people. But, it is not only the surroundings but also the amazing and adventurous activities that you get to do here. You can visit many lovely old buildings, go shopping, skiing, trekking, horse riding, and much more.

Ooty
In the lap of the Nilgiri Hills and in the state of Tamil Nadu, lies Ooty. Also known as Udhagamandalam, this hill station is famous for the heritage ‘toy train’ that runs to the nearby smaller hill station of Coonoor. Travellers can also enjoy the Botanical Gardens, Doddabetta, Avalanche Lake, Pykara Lake, the surrounding Nilgiris hills and St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
Ladakh
Set amidst the Himalayas, Ladakh is famous for its abundance of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, high mountain passes and stunning views. Sometimes also called a “little Tibet,” due to the similarity in culture and heritage, it has a rich and diverse history. Gulmarg
Situated in the Baramulla District, of Jammu and Kashmir, Gulmarg sits at an altitude of 2,730 meters. It is known for its snow-laden peaks and deep valleys, making it a perfect place to go skiing. You can also take trips to Alpather Lake, Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, and Khilanmarg or spend your time golfing.
Munnar
Munnar is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district, Kerala. Nestled in the mighty Western Ghats Mountain ranges, Munnar is also known as “Kashmir of South India” and known for being an amazing Honeymoon Destination. Tea plantations, forests, wildlife, valleys and mountains make Munnar an attractive scenic beauty.
