By Train:

Jammu Tawi, Chandigarh and Pathankot are the nearest railway station to Ladakh. From Chandigarh, it might take a few days to reach Ladakh but the journey doesn’t stop there, you will have to take a cab from the railway station to Ladakh.

You can take the road for your trip but the cab will cost you at least Rs 10,000/- for a round trip from Jammu railways station and back. You have to reach the nearest railway station to take a cab from there. This can be a little inconvenient, but if you can manage that, go for it.
