When not to travel to Shimla?

Question

Accepted Answer

There are many factors that decide which is the best time to travel to Shimla. Here are a few to look for:
- Monsoon Season between July to September is not a great time to travel as it is during this time that Shimla experiences a lot of landslides and roadblocks.
- Peak Winter season which starts by the mid of December to January is also not a good time as heavy snowfall can sometimes lead to road closures.
- Peak Seasons from May to June is the time to avoid as the place gets overcrowded and everything from accommodations to activities are highly priced.
