The bus excursion to the summit of Mount Sinai, the place where Moses is supposed to have received the Ten Commandments,You will be taken from your accommodation in Sharm in the evening & driven the three hours to Moses Mountain.One of our guides will begin the 3hour ascent of 2,285 meters up the mountain at 2:00 AM. If you want to take a long trip, there are seven hundred steps you can take. This trail leads to the pinnacle of the mountain, where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking dawn. You can take a camel ride up the mountain to the first set of 700 stairs if you don't think you can handle the challenge. It's time to pack up and head back to Sharm once the sun has fully risen.
After you drive to the Transfiguration Church, the Burning Bush, and Moses' Well after your descent from Mount Sinai, your guide will meet you at the monastery's entrance and return you to your accommodation in Sharm el-Sheikh, the monastery limits the amount of days that guests can visit.

What To Expect

You may witness the sunrise from the summit of Mount Sinai by hiking from Sharm el Sheikh to one of Egypt's tallest mountains. You will climb the 2,285-meter (7,497-foot) peak in the predawn darkness, see the chapel and mosque atop the mountain lit up by the first light, and then descend to the sixth-century Monastery of St. Catherine, built where Moses is reputed to have seen the Burning Bush.
