Gateway Taproom
Location: Godrej BKC Building, Bandra Kurla Complex
Started by young entrepreneurs, Gateway Brewing Co. is a cross between a microbrewery and a commercial beer brand. It is known to be one of the best breweries in Mumbai and it creates unique beers from local ingredients that are then supplied to pubs across Mumbai.
Along with its popular craft beers, Gateway Taproom at BKC also serves beer cocktails and lip-smacking food to go along with your drinks. Try Grape in My Side Car, Jim’s Stout, Ginger Lemon Radler, and Gin Zen, from their rich collection of beer cocktails. Add grilled fish skewers, tuna crostini, melon feta carpaccio, bacon-wrapped sausages, chicken schnitzel, and tenderloin burrito with your drinks to create perfection! Brewbot Eatery and Pub Brewery
Location: Morya Landmark 1, Off New Link Road, Andheri West
This easygoing brewery loves robots, hence its name. Known for its casual feel and its original brews, they have a special Hoppy Hour offer where they supersize your beer and get you a 550ml one, while you actually pay for a 330ml one. Yep! With their good selection of wheat beers and IPAs, you can also get a lot of scrumptious and delectable dishes including an amazing variety of tacos, pizzas, and chicken wings and juicy chicken sliders.
In case you like favour darker beers, try the Black Mamba. This British-style oatmeal stout is an absolute delight! And if you’d like to opt for something smooth and light, try their Botwork orange or Skywalker.
Independence Brewing Company
Location: Boolani Estate Owners Premises, New Link Road, Andheri (West)
This pub brewery in Mumbai offers a large selection of craft beers that includes Belgian Wit, Beer Flight, Summer Gruit Ale, Four Grain Saison, Ixcacao (nitro beer), and Method to Madness Oaked IPA. This Pune import is one of the must-visit destinations for every beer fanatic in Mumbai. Added bonus is their delicious food; try their Mushroom Chilli Fry, Peri Peri Chicken Skewers, Tenderloin Chilli Fry and Chicken Samosas along with their interesting brews.
Doolally Taproom
Location: Bandra, Andheri West, Colaba
Doolally Taproom is one of the most famous beer joints in Mumbai and is known for their Belgian Witbier, heady oatmeal stout, and ciders. You’ll be pleased to know that this isn’t just someplace where you have your drinks and leave; it also offers board games to make your visit memorable. The cherry on top is that it is a pet-friendly brewery, so if you happen to have a pet then, at Doolally Taproom will also make sure that your beloved pooch has a great time along with you!

Bangalore’s favourite, Toit Brewery is known for fresh and scrumptious beer served in tall glasses. Don’t miss the different range of seasonal beers at Toit which come in a gamut of interesting flavours such as Harvest Ragi Ale, Spiced Pumpkin Ale, Mango Ale, Jackfruit Ale and more. With refreshing interiors in bright yet muted colours of yellows, blues and browns, the newly opened Toit in Mumbai has become one of the bustling hangouts in South Mumbai. The Barking Deer Brewpub
Location: Mathuradas Mill Compound, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel West
Newbies can pick this place as the menu here explicitly describes each and every beer ( from colour to its taste), which helps in selecting with greater authority. Adding to that, they also tell you what dish it tastes best with. Try their Flying Pig Belgian Wit and their amazing burgers along with great finger food to make your night (or afternoon)!
