Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea after Sicily. The island is clean, beautiful and has incredible coastlines and sandy beaches. The place is definitely worth a visit. So here is a packing list for you if you are planning a trip to Sardinia.

Shoes
You don’t just need boring flats or just fancy heels. You need both! In fact, you need shoes that fit for every occasion. If you are planning to hike the coastal trails, carry hiking boots with you. You might also need flats shoes that are comfortable and light to carry. Flipflops are a good option for flats. You might have fancy dinner as well, so carry shoes that will go with that outfit. Men can keep oxford shoes or loafers to go with their fancy outfits.
Sun Protection
When you are on a beach, sun protection becomes a huge part of your routine during the tip. By sun protection I don’t only mean sunscreens. I mean Hats, sunglasses and scarves as well. A good sunscreen will save your skin from getting sunburned. And a sunglass and summer hat will save your eyes and face.
Day Pack
On a day of hiking, I don’t think carrying your entire backpack is a good idea. Consider carrying a daypack with you. This way you will be able to take just what you need an will be comfortable for the entire day.
Passport
Make sure you check the validation for your passport before you head out and do all the bookings. The validation for your passport should be more than 6 months at least. As you all know, a passport is one of the most important things when you plan a trip. Update it before your plan starts implementing.
Baggage
Tak comfortable baggage along with you. This might depend on the type of travel you are going to have. If it is a beach vacation and you are not planning to hike, two-wheeled luggage is the best for you. If you are planning to trek, it is better you take a backpack with you.
Informing Bank
You are going to be holidaying, it is always good to inform your bank about your vacation. Your card will be used for transactions often and the bank might consider this as unusual activity and block your card. And this is not what you want when you are on a vacation. You rely heavily on a debit and credit card. You can’t rely on cash too much.
Jumper
A jumper looks beautiful on every body shape. You can wear it with a simple t-shirt inside if it is a short jumper. In case you are planning to wear a long jumper style it with a good pair of earrings or a cute neckpiece.
Swim Suits
You are going to a beach, a swimsuit is a must to take. Make sure you get a swimsuit that perfectly fits you. Not loose, not tight, just the one that fits you perfectly. For men, swim trunks should be perfectly fitting you.
Comfortable Tops
Comfortable tank tops are always a good option when you are travelling. Prefer taking breathable fabric like cotton. You won’t feel hot and they also look nice with jeans or leggings. Plus they are light to carry. Two to three of these tops are good to carry with you on your trip to Sardinia.
Fancy Dresses
Beach dresses are light, colourful and beautiful. I am sure all the girls already have a favourite dress in their mind to take along on the beach. And why not? Dresses are comfortable and look great on every body shape. But again, choose the fabric and the colour very wisely. Also in addition to this keep a fancy dress with you for the dinner evenings and shoes that compliment your outfit.
Bottoms
Bottoms like leggings, jeans, shorts, trousers and bubble pants are stylish and comfortable. Jeans are mostly used when you are not on the beach. You can keep one dark coloured jeans with you that goes with multiple tops. You can select the other bottoms on the basis of how much time are you going to spend where.
Scarf
Scarves are mostly used for sun protection and styling. So you can improvise on your outfit by adding a scarf to your outfit. Scarves can be worn with tank tops or tunics to give your outfit a different look.
Nightwear
Obviously, you want to sleep comfortably and you can’t sleep in your jeans. So carry your pyjamas with you to be comfortable while sleeping. I leave it up to your choice, even if it is Superman boxers. Not judging!
Toiletry
You are always provided with toiletries in hotels but its always good to carry your own with you. Just in case you stay in a hostel, you will need your own toiletries. That way you don’t need to depend on the hotel if they have not provided any.
